David Cross is in his 44th year of music education. He has been Director of Vocal Jazz at the University of Washington Seattle, Washington. Selected as WIAA Outstanding Music Educator and a member of the Washington Music Educators Hall of Fame, Mr. Cross has earned the respect of music educators for his integrity, sincerity, and for the extent and quality of his contributions to music education.

Mr. Cross has conducted numerous All-State Jazz Choirs and Honor Choirs across the United States and Canada. He is a member of ACDA, NWJE, MENC, and is a past president of the Washington Music Educators. David also publishes vocal jazz arrangements.
