New Registration System!
Based on participant feedback from last year, we have adopted a new registration platform - Ciniki - to make the registration process clearer and simpler for everyone!
This is a NEW REGISTRATION SYSTEM and everyone will need to create a new profile. Previous login IDs and passwords are no longer valid.
Important Registration Information
Review your registrations carefully with your teacher. A Teacher’s Worksheet is attached to help you gather all your information accurately before entering it into the online registration system.
Entries that do not meet class requirements will be disqualified.
Within your Ciniki account, you may edit the following until January 30, 2026:
Repertoire title
Movements
Composer
Piece length
For all other corrections, email krista.pederson@vkmfestivals.org before January 30, 2026 to request a change. A $25.00 correction fee will apply.
No changes will be accepted after January 30, 2026.
Key Dates
Registration Opens: November 17, 2025
Registration Closes: January 18, 2026 (Late entries will not be accepted)
Corrections Deadline: January 30, 2026
Festival Dates: April 7 – May 3, 2026
The full schedule will be published on the website by March 15, 2026.
The performer who achieves the highest mark in Recital Class - Excellence, Piano will receive a full tuition scholarship, including room and board, to the Vancouver Island Academy, July 31 - August 15, 2026! vimamusic.ca/index
